The Heidelberg Laureate Forum connects highly talented young researchers in mathematics and computer science with the most venerated scientists in their research fields. The Forum is designed as a platform for inspiration and creativity, fueled by the desire to inspire the next generation of scientists. The Heidelberg Laureate Forum Foundation recognizes that communication is the keystone to achieving scientific success and excellence. Therefore, the HLF creates the opportunity for researchers throughout all stages of their careers to profoundly interact and fluently exchange ideas.
The Heidelberg Laureate Forum was initiated by the German foundation Klaus Tschira Stiftung (KTS) and the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies (HITS). It is organized in collaboration with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM; ACM A.M. Turing Award), the International Mathematical Union (IMU; Fields Medal, Nevanlinna Prize) and the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters (DNVA; Abel Prize).
The Heidelberg Laureate Forum Foundation was founded and is supported by the Klaus Tschira Stiftung, a German foundation which avidly promotes the awareness and development of the natural sciences, mathematics and computer science.
